Afghanastan. the place known for about the last two hundred years as, "The Graveyard of Empires". We can all sit here in our comforatable homes and 'quarterback' the United States' reaction to 9/11 for eternity.
Personally, we shouldn't have tried to 'conquer' Afghanastan. We should have dropped three mid sized nukes. One on Kabul. One on Khandahar, and one big ass one on the tunnels of Khyber pass. The downside of all that is, the Taliban has (had) such a stranglehold on speech, that the regular Afghan didn't even know about the twin towers being attacked by folks who trained on their soil. So, yeah it's a tough call.
But the way Biden pulled out was just wrong. But they way we went in and 'prosecuted' the war was wrong too. As seen by what happened afterwards.
