Denver, One of Many to Protect Illegals First

Denver, One of Many to Protect Illegals First

While on the one side, the deep state is in panic mode, seems like certain cities and states are setting themselves up for full insurrection.  Aren't there about 400 folks in prison for a so called insurrection right now?

I think it is a flagrant slap in the face of the locals since Aurora is basically a suburb of Denver, but I reckon the Major of Denver is in with the gangs more than his voters.

There are a few definitions for that word "insurrection", but one of them is, " open and active opposition to the execution of law in a city or state. "  Here, we'll target Denver, but at the bottom, we'll show a list of states who are going into insurrection mode, again.

"Denver has built a reputation as a city where new immigrants can find legal help and maybe even a job without constant fear of authorities.

"But the United States will soon have a new president. Donald Trump promises mass deportations. And he says he will defund sanctuary cities that resist him, a move that could deprive Denver of millions of dollars for programs residents depend on."

"The mayor pledged to continue to protect undocumented immigrants. That includes those who arrived in recent years and those who built their families in Denver over decades. "

How Denver’s mayor is responding to Trump’s threats to defund sanctuary cities

Note that this article here is full of more rhetoric as it is based upon the same article above.  Check the link in the quoted text.

"Mayor Johnston has made it clear that he will go as far as using city police and local volunteers to physically prevent the deportation of illegal immigrants, including those with potential gang affiliations.

"In a recent interview with Denverite, Johnston unapologetically declared his intention to turn Denver into a fortress of resistance against immigration enforcement, framing his actions as a moral crusade."

Denver Mayor Declares War on Federal Law: Vows to Use Police and Citizens to Block Deportation of Illegal Migrants, Including Gang Members

"Denver’s mayor has vowed to shield migrants in his sanctuary city from mass deportation by using local cops and 50,000 residents “stationed at the county line” — calling it a “Tiananmen Square moment.”

"“More than us having [federal agents] stationed at the county line to keep them out, you could have 50,000 Denverites there,” Democratic Mayor Mike Johnston recently told the outlet Denverite — after President-elect Donald Trump vowed to undertake mass deportations of illegal migrants across the US."

"A cadre of blue-state governors is already preparing a litany of political and legal moves to shield their states’ policies and residents from federal actions under Donald Trump's new administration."
