The controversial immigration reform package hitchhiking on the Ukraine-Israel funding bill (or was it the other way around?) has failed.Here, briefly is one reason why. This practice of hitchhiking is getting us nowhere.
Fast. I mean, when was the last time we actually passed a federal budget? Do we even have one? NO. Now all we do is pass 'spending bills' and 'debt ceiling raises'.
