We hear the term big pharma a lot lately and for good reason. The controlyavirus pretty much exposed the medical industry (no longer a profession) for what it is, greedy and corrupt. And it started with the drug war.
yup, way back one hundred years or so ago, John D. Rockefeller used his massive wealth from Standard Oil to create the genesis of the medical industry we have now. He had a huge role in getting all natural remedies illegal, or at the least, shunned by all doctors.
Now look at all the drug ads we see, all over everywhere in our face. I have also noticed over time that maybe after ten years of some new 'miracle drug' coming out, then the class action lawsuits fire up and you get all the attorney ads. I have volunteered in medical offices before and the representatives of drug companies come along with free samples and sell sell sell.
But here we talk about the good old flu shot. Ever get one? I never did, why? I always figured it was just asking for more trouble. And now I know why.
