Letitia James. The woman who campaigned for and got elected as the Attorney General for the State of New York on the platform of I'm going to dig into Trump deeply until I find something, anything.
Boy, I've got a lot of stuff here.
Kind of like a lot of folks did whose whole campaign slogan was, "Get Trump at all costs!" CNN aired this compilation and I am quite surprised by the commentary, check it out:
See what New York AG said while running for office about charging Trump
And we know about the outcome. She dug and found some little thing and built it up and sued and won to the tune of about half a billion dollars. Well, maybe she should have dug into her own dealings in that very self same field that she charged Trump with.
"New York Attorney General Letitia James has been accused of mortgage fraud.
"In a letter, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) referred James, a Democrat who has served as the state attorney general since 2019 to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, alleging she falsified records to obtain a mortgage in 2023. James has denied all wrongdoing."
Letitia James Mortgage Fraud Allegations: What We Know
"The FBI and US Attorney’s Office in Albany have launched a criminal investigation into mortgage fraud claims against New York Attorney General Letitia James, a source familiar with the probe told The Post.
"The investigation, first reported by the Albany Times Union, follows a request that the Justice Department investigate James, sent by Federal Housing Finance Agency Director William Pulte to the Justice Department last month."

Now the aboe is only about the Federal troubles she may be in, now the state is going to investigate her too:
"New York Attorney General Letitia James is the subject of a new state-level ethics complaint filed by pro-Trump legal nonprofit America First Legal (AFL). The AFL complaint filed last week adds to the recent woes for James, who's also facing a criminal referral from the Trump administration related to accusations of mortgage fraud."
Now, like any good and fully corrupt Democrat, they go straight to crowd funding. Donald Trump didn't do that, he may have tried to sell some things, but at least you got something for your donation, something instead of a bunch of lying ass hot air.
"Embattled New York Attorney General Letitia James is hitting up supporters for big bucks just days after the Trump administration accused her of alleged fraud involving several homes she owns.
"The money bid is in the form of an invitation to an event on Tuesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. calling for contributions starting at $500 and climbing to an eye-popping $18,000, the maximum allowed by New York law, in support of her 2026 re-election bid.
"The invite features a photo of James framed by a circular gay pride flag."
Oh, but do not forget how the corrupt Democrat deep state machine protects its own:
"New York Attorney General Letitia James may be eligible to use taxpayer dollars to cover legal expenses stemming from a federal investigation into alleged fraudulent real estate activity, according to language contained in the state’s newly unveiled operations budget bill.
"The bill includes a provision establishing a $10 million fund intended to pay for “reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses” for certain state officials involved in federal legal actions initiated after January 1, 2025."

That bill may have gotten nixed or changed, I couldn't find the resource, but there was a post on "X" where she was desperately asking for just "twenty-five bucks". But wow, look at where the link goes, act blue again:
