The Deep State Showing Itself

The Deep State Showing Itself

Well, what a shit show!  I do not see how any sane person could now deny the existence of a 'deep state'.  My sister and I were joking about it and I said all it is is the entrenched bureaucrats, mostly in management.

Not just the intelligence community like the Washington Times liked to use to attempt to say it is another 'alt-right conspiracy theory'.  What they don't get is that over 70 million people and a majority as well, voted for just these types of actions.  We've been sick and tired of the way the .gov has been going to shit for decades now and the time for attempting to just go on like business as usual is at a screeching end.

I mean, what world is one in when a person tells themself that they don't have to listen to nor obey the boss?  One that we hope is coming to a complete and quick end.

"The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is eyeing downsizing by more than 1,000 employees, many of whom were hired by the Biden administration to work on climate change, air pollution and environmental regulation programs.

"At least 1,100 EPA staffers who joined the agency within the last year received emails recently that informed them they could be fired “immediately,” given their “probationary/trial period” status, according to a copy of the message reviewed by the New York Times."

  • The Justice Department's lawsuit seeks to have Illinois' Trust Act, the Way Forward Act, and Chicago's Welcoming City ordinance deemed "invalid" for interfering with federal immigration law enforcement.
  • Governor Pritzker expressed concerns about the aggressive immigration operations, stating that they could have a chilling effect on law-abiding immigrants who have been in the country for years.

The push-back:

"A fiery group of about a dozen congressional Democrats blasted Elon Musk and President Donald Trump on Monday afternoon outside of USAID’s headquarters amid their attempts to shut down the overseas funding agency, claiming the rapidly unfolding events are causing chaos and harming national security.  The Democrats called the actions against USAID “illegal” and a “constitutional crisis” while vowing to take their defense of the agency to the courts."

"The party and allied groups this week have shown up at the doors of agencies impacted by Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency, held rallies and press conferences calling the president’s ally an “unelected billionaire,” and introduced legislation to push back on the administration’s efforts to eliminate agencies and force out federal employees.

"The coordinated effort comes after weeks of Democrats grappling with how to oppose the new administration after a bruising election in which President Donald Trump made gains with key parts of the Democratic base and Republicans flipped the Senate and held the House."

"A federal judge partially blocked access to the Treasury Department's financial systems by the Department of Government Efficiency over a lawsuit from a coalition of labor unions.

And right on que:

"Well, that didn't take long. President Donald Trump has only been in the Oval Office for about two weeks and Democrats are already trying to impeach him – again.

"The day after Trump announced his intention to take over the Gaza Strip amid the war between Israel and Hamas, Rep. Al Green (D-TX) announced on the House floor that he is introducing articles of impeachment against the president for participating in “ethnic cleansing” in the region."
