I am a christian. I am not the kind of christian you would think I am, I am one who knows I am. As well as I can after only forty years that is, lol. So when I saw all this prophecy stuff floating around about the eclipse, well.
It reminded me of the hoopla over a disease recently that has a mortality rate in the United States of just over one third of one percent of the population. Over three years in. About one tenth of one percent globally. Yet the press had it in our faces twenty four seven on the hour (or less) every hour the damn TV was on any damn channel. I'm of a mind that there was quite a few who experienced harsher symptoms because of the anxiety caused by the media blast.
In fact it is the truth, follow the link above. Makes one just have to go hmmm, was that all on purpose? Can't prove it, so.
Which brings me back to the Biblical Prophecies that were blasted out making me call it the "Eclipsalypse". And it looks like someone took it to heart as well. It is truly sad that some people are so gullible, but I reckon with the media saturation we get these days . . .
"A woman checked out of a Florida hotel and told staff that she was going on a God-directed shooting spree because of the solar eclipse, then shot two drivers on Interstate 10 before being arrested and charged with attempted murder Monday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Taylon Nichelle Celestine, 22, of Georgia, entered the highway 115 miles from the Alabama border in the Florida Panhandle and headed west. She was driving a purple Dodge Challenger with Georgia plates, officials said.
Within 5 miles, she fired into a passing car several times, spraying auto glass and grazing the driver in the arm, the department said in a statement."
