I would have thought that it was Boris Johnson's idea to move the UK embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, but it was put forth by the UK's shortest-serving Prime Minister, Liz Truss. Who's Liz Truss?
Not to worry as the UK's new and current PM, Rishi Sunak scraped it. No need to mention the fact that of course, many Arab relationships with the UK were at risk if the move went forward. Didn't hurt us. Oh, he was actually born in England, so don't let his middle eastern name and looks get in the way.
