Oh the drama! The theater that the Democrats seem to need to do. All this crying over "constitutional crisis" with every disclosure of massive waste and potential fraud. But, that is what was voted for.
It is ludicrous though, as there is plenty of precedent for President Trump's actions. And notice, they never deny that what is coming to light is false. They cannot.
"A Senate Judiciary Committee vote on advancing Kash Patel's nomination to be FBI director was delayed Thursday after Democrats raised objections.
"The move will require the committee to take a one week hold before voting on Patel's nomination but the delay will likely have no bearing on Patel's ability to ultimately be confirmed."

"Disgraced former deputy and acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe said those within the bureau are dreading the confirmation of President Trump’s nominee for FBI director, Kash Patel.

"The Senate Judiciary Committee voted along party lines on Thursday to advance the nomination of Kash Patel, Donald Trump’s pick for FBI director, pushing past Democratic concerns that he would operate as a loyalist for the president and target perceived adversaries of the White House.
"It was not immediately clear when the final confirmation vote will occur, but so far even nominees once seen as having uncertain prospects — including new Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence — have been able to marshal sufficient support from Republicans eager to fall in line with Trump’s agenda."

Odly enough, this happened early on in this debacle.
"A nationwide group of former Federal Bureau of Investigation agents has sent a letter to Senate leadership in support of Trump FBI Director nominee Kash Patel making the case that the bureau is "broken" and in desperate need of a new direction.
"The letter was sent to Republican Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, Republican Senate Majority Leader John Thune, Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Dick Durbin and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer."
