Democrats Cannot Keep Snout Out Of Trough

Free money!  Come and get it, says the Democrats. It doesn't matter that the reason these funds were made available no longer exists, come and get it, it's FREE!  There is nothing in this world that is free.

Somebody has to pay for it.  And that somebody is the taxpayer.

It used to be a bipartisan thing to want to cut waste, but not now.  The corruption is in full display.  Once they have some money to hand out, it is full on "Hands Off!"

  • More than a dozen state attorneys general have filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Education over the end of COVID-19 financial relief.
  • The lawsuit claims the federal government acted unlawfully by stopping funds that were set to be available through March 2026.
  • The attorneys general state that the funding is essential for various educational programs needed to address COVID's impact on students.
  • The lawsuit alleges that the abrupt end to funding will cause irreparable harm to states and students, cutting off vital education services.

She has disabilities that make finding work difficult to begin with, on top of her classes, she said. The program paid to get her up to speed on rent payments and set her up through September."
