We've all seen it. We've all probably done it once. But now there is a new addition socially undesirable consequence of sneaking in one. Or out, lol.
First off, I'd like to thank the headline for putting that key word right in it. "Suggests". Usually, the headline leaves that out and says, "New Study Reveals" and then later in the text you will find 'suggests'. And hey, the controlyavirus still makes the headlines.
- "Healthcare workers who pick their noses are more likely to test positive for Covid-19, according to a study of 219 participants in the Netherlands. 17% of nose-pickers tested positive compared to 6% of non-nose-pickers.
- Nose-picking could make it easier for the virus to enter the body and spread to others. The habit may introduce virus particles on the hands into the nose, and contaminated healthcare workers could then transmit the virus in their work environment."
