Dumb question. After seeing the turmoil of 2020 culminating with the treatment of the Jan 6 crowd, nope. It's all out in the open now. After all, they proved their hold on power in the 2020 and 2022 (s)elections.
But why? They let the Senate get disrupted during the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings. And they certainly could care less about the Jews and/or Israel; or a Pro-Palestinian protest.
Oh, this 'protest' was held where they eat. There ya go. Don't get between your (s)elected Senator and their trough.
"More than 50 people were arrested Tuesday after the Senate cafeteria was shut down by anti-Israel protesters chanting "Senate can’t eat until Gaza eats!"
"The U.S. Capitol Police confirmed to Fox News that those arrested inside the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington, D.C., were charged with Crowding, Obstructing, or Incommoding."
Maybe they're just trying to cover their ass:
""It is illegal to demonstrate inside any of the Congressional Buildings," Capitol Police said in a statement.
