Are we sick of this yet? This endless witch hunt, which has really opened up into full on political prosecutions, is getting fucking old if you ask me. To call what happened on January 6, 2021 "The Insurrection" is a joke.
Especially considering what led up to it. It has been two and one half years since this mostly peaceful protest happened, and they're still people in jail without charges even now. That folks, is an insurrection against the Constitution in and of itself. Now, it is open season on Republicans, not just former President Trump. All of us. But, that has been happening since Trump announced his candidacy.
- "Former Republican gubernatorial candidate Ryan Kelley is set to plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds at the US Capitol on January 6.
- The plea deal will result in the dropping of three other charges against Kelley.
- Kelley's lawyer stated that his client had attended the protest with the intention of protesting the election but did not realize that protesters were not permitted in the restricted area outside the Capitol."
