President Biden decided that the Controlyavirus 'emergency' is over after over three years. Surprisingly, it was a bill introduced by Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona, who the left consider to be a 'far-right' conservative.
The Controlyavirus 'emergency' was touted as a deadly plague as well. Funny, the mortality rate after three years is still less than one third of one percent of the population in the United States. The rate of death for those who caught the disease was about one percent. I am not dismissing anybody's death, but to call something that kills one out of one hundred who get it is not quite a 'deadly plague' if you ask me.
Biden signs bill ending national COVID-19 emergency
"President Joe Biden on Monday signed a Republican-backed bill ending the U.S. national emergency in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a month earlier than the administration planned.
The bill, introduced by Rep. Paul Gosar (R., Ariz) in January, immediately terminated the coronavirus emergency, which gave the government sweeping powers to respond to the pandemic that began more than three years ago. Biden signaled in January that the emergency was set to end in May along with a separate public health emergency that will still remain in place until its scheduled lapse on May 11."
