Israel has been at war. Since Pharaoh chased them across the Red Sea to now. During the last century the war branched from the ancient weapons and massacre to the public sphere, the information war.
That was one reason for the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem to spend much of Word War II with Hitler and the Nazis to learn how they fought against the Jews. The whole Arab world likes Hitler. Saddam Hussein was a big fan.
So is it any surprise that Hamas has an iron grip on all information coming from Gaza? No. Yet the world media picks it up and runs with it as if it is gospel truth. When holes are shot into it, the news reporting those discrepancies is buried instead with the never ending help of the United Nations.

But now all doubt should be laid to rest (unlike Ayyash himself) since Ayyash has been arrested in Austria of all places – which seems somehow fitting given its association with someone else who really had it in for Jews."
