 This is new news, but it has been all over the news.  Texas Governor Greg Abbott has placed his own national guard troops on the border in one particular spot and is not really allowing the Border Patrol in much.

This is pretty much old news by now, or maybe not.  Former Arizona Governor's candidate Kari Lake is now running for U.S. Senate for Arizona when Kyrsten Sinema is up for re-(s)election this year.

Lots of talk about Texas' border problems lately.  Arizona has its own issues as well, some starting with its own (s)elected Governor.^(1)(2)(3)  The bigger problem(s) come from the Federal .gov current administration's policy.
