Cartel Katie Hobbs in Trouble Again

Cartel Katie Hobbs in Trouble Again

Cartel Katie Hobbs, Arizona's governor.  My friends in Washington state who remember the Rossi/Gregoire contest in 2004 know what I experienced here in Arizona in 2022.  Again.

And all you Arizonan's that experienced this 2020 election know exactly what happened in Washington state in 2004, well almost.  The drama in 2004 was a bit more.  Two recounts, the last financed by none other than John Kerry's failed Presidential campaign.

The big difference is Gregoire, as far as I know, never broke as many laws afterwards.  Gregoire certainly did not laugh, as far as we know, at her inauguration.

"The big picture: The Arizona Republic reported Wednesday that Sunshine Residential Homes received a large rate hike from DCS after making six-figure contributions to Hobbs' inauguration fund and the Arizona Democratic Party.

"How it works: None of the dozens of other group homes that contract with DCS had received a rate hike under the Hobbs administration until June 1, 2024, when 52 providers got them as part of negotiations to renew expiring contracts, according to a Hobbs' spokesperson."

AG will investigate allegations surrounding Hobbs and group home company

"Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs is under active investigation for allegations of bribery, fraud, conspiracy, and racketeering, as state authorities and legislative leaders probe her administration’s financial dealings. The inquiry centers on accusations that Hobbs and other Arizona Democrats allegedly accepted $400,000 in bribes from Sunshine Residential Homes, a state contractor, in exchange for directing millions in taxpayer dollars to the company.

"State records indicate that under Hobbs’ oversight as budget director, $339 million in taxpayer funds remains unaccounted for. The missing money was initially reported as a $339 million shortfall but has since risen to $350 million, prompting further scrutiny from lawmakers."

Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs Under Investigation for Alleged Bribery, Fraud, and Racketeering

"Arizon’s Democrat Governor, Katie Hobbs, is confronting escalating challenges in her 2026 reelection bid. Her administration is grappling with a series of controversies and a declining approval rating, casting doubt on her prospects against a primary challenger or the 2026 general election. Recent polls indicate her favorability has dipped to 36%, with 42% disapproving of her performance."
