I remember a few years ago, the Republican members of the Oregon state Senate walked off the job so that a quorum could not be reached as a means to stop a bill from passing.  Both parties have done it.

In the never, ever, ever, ever ending pursuit of every single person at or involved in the mostly peaceful protest in Washington D.C. on January 6, 2021; we have some more convictions.  What Sixth Amendment., right?

I have visited Israel twice.  Folks ask me, 'why ever would you want to go there'?  Really?  Who and why wouldn't someone want to visit Israel and especially Jerusalem.  After my first visit I decided to delve deeper.

Senator Joe Manchin, a Democrat from West Virginia, has been getting a bit of fifteen minutes of fame in a few news cycles lately.  Here, he is pondering whether he wants to leave the party like Kyrsten Sinema has.

The good old days of the 'press' are long, long gone.  Most of those you may find that do not parrot the AP, UP, Reuters, etc. byline are most times those 'fringe' outfits.  But the mainstream media is locked down tight.
